(Avigail) We have actually known each other our whole lives as Damian, lived on the same street as me and was a friend of my older brother and sisters. However the first time we really started to notice each other was at our local pub back in Leeds, having just been in a water fight all my clothes were drenched so I borrowed my friends unflattering Leeds United Football Shirt which was 5 sizes bigger than me. I think Damian found this amusing and we chatted together all night and haven’t been apart since.
(Damian) When I first saw Avigail walk into the pub in the Leeds shirt, I didn’t even realize that it was my friends sister. I turned to my friend and said ‘Who is she?’ he told me it was my friends younger sister and within 5 minutes we were talking, laughing and I thought she was HOT. The very next day I stole her number out of my friends mobile phone, called her and arranged a date, from the first date till now we have been together ever since.
From the moment we met we would always bounce ideas off each other, and then started styling shoots together when we moved to London and dreaming of starting our own label. All of this led to the creation of Silver Spoon Attire.
